Shin-Yu’s mission is to encourage and walk with women and families as they move from surviving to thriving in their personal lives and relationships. Her combined clinical training and personal journey with medically complex kids empowers her to help women and families: 1) take inventory of what is currently holding them back, 2) outline active steps necessary to move forward, and 3) encourage and motivate them to take those action steps. 

She also works with women and families who are lost and need help navigating and advocating for healthcare services. See more details below!

  • Clinical knowledge

    Understand your medical diagnosis and/or medications (prescription, herbals, supplements, OTCs)

    Explore diverse modalities of care (traditional, functional medicine, etc)

  • Navigating healthcare system

    Advocating for medical services you need and are not receiving

    Amplifying your voice and concerns when you are frustrated by the system

    Help you communicate with your doctor so that you receive the information you need to make well informed and confident decisions surrounding your healthcare

    Compare marketplace or employer sponsored insurance plans

    Equip you with the knowledge on how to choose the insurance you need based individualized needs (cost, medical conditions, etc)

    Assist with potential ways to reduce medication cost

  • Parent and Family Coach

    Encourage and counsel individuals and families through personal and professional challenges

    Foster support, understanding, and growth when facing challenges with medical diagnoses or challenges with family dynamics and relationships

    Offer strategies and support to navigate medical, mental health, and developmental needs

  • 1:1 Coaching Sessions (45 minutes in length)
  • Can purchase individually or in packages of 5 sessions
